As they were in 2025, sub payments are going to be made up of 2 parts in 2026.
NZ Hockey Fee
NZ Hockey requires the payment of the NZ Hockey fee directly from players. At the time of registering to play hockey for the season you will have to make a registration payment to NZ Hockey. NZ Hockey has increased their registration in 2026 by an additional cost $10 for senior players, $26 for 19-24 years, $15 for secondary aged players and $5 - $9 for junior players.
Carlton Redcliffs sub
At the same time on top of this, will be the sub that you need to pay to the Carlton Redcliffs Hockey Club (CRHC) to cover the cost of Canterbury Hockey Association (CHA) affiliation fee, CHA match fees, CHA (and other venues) turf hire and CHA turf replacement fee. CHA have increased their charges by 2.9%.
Carlton Redcliffs subs have been returned to the 2024 sub amounts. This has only been possible due to our incredible sponsors (The Bealey and Just Hockey) and generous grants from Community Trusts. The amazing sponsors and grants also mean that you are not having to pay for uniforms, goalie gear, balls, club functions etc in your subs. Your subs only cover some of CHA costs.

CRHC 2026 Subs
Payment options:
Pay both the NZ Hockey registration fee and the CRHC sub (to cover CHA costs) in 1 payment by debit or credit card (or better still your parents credit card).
OR
Pay the NZ Hockey registration fee and an initial 10% CRHC sub payment, and then installments each month. The remaining total will be divided into equal monthly payments which will be automatically deducted from your credit card on the same date each month until the final due date 1 August 2026.
